BANGLADESH'S HINDU MINORITIES FACE PERSECUTION: ACADEMICIANS " FORCED TO RESIGN"

It was 5th August 2024, the day Sheikh Hasina stepped
down from her post of PM, since when Islamists took charge of the communities,
attacked and imposed violence upon the Hindus. Hindu minorities started facing rapes,
temples, household and businesses destructed, along with numerous murders were executed.
The Muslim community are imposing trouble and harassment to the Hindus by facing
them to resign from their jobs. Some are also being pressured to leave the native
country due to their religious indifference. Within last few days, several such
torturous incidents have taken place where almost 67 Hindu teachers, professors,
government officials are forced to resign from their jobs.
Azimpur Government College teacher Gautam Chandra Pal has
been forced to resign by the students and the committee. He won the award for
Best Chemistry Teacher. He was forced to resign because he belonged to a Hindu community.

Gitanjali Barua from Dhaka, the principal of Ajimpur
Government Girls' School and College has been forced by the islam and
muslim students to resign. Hindu lady Sonali Rani Das was allegedly forced to
resign on 19th August. She was an Assistant Professor of Holi Red Crescent Nursing College of Dhaka.
A journalist has been suspended from
Ekon Tv due to publishing true news of
aggression on this hindu family & sexual harassment
of her daughter. The death body of a Hindu boy was found in Nasirabad
village of Nabinagar police station in Brahmanbaria district. The family claims
he was taken out by his Muslim friends.
“Then they started to rape me one after another. I screamed.
But, neighbours didn't come to save me” said a Hindu woman of Khulna district who
is a victim of gang-rape. She was gang-raped by the Islamists on the night of
11th of August, 2024. Police Line High School Principal bhabesh chandra roy has been forced to resign
by the students. He was forced to resign yesterday. When asked, he replied that
he had to resign because he belonged to the Hindu community. Islamists set
fire to the house of Nathpara Hindus in Debiganj of Thakurgaon.Every night
danger descends upon the hindus. An average of 15 Hindu houses are set on fire
every night. On August 5th, Ekhon TV journalist "Imon Chowdhury" lost
his job for creating a factual documentary about the persecution of religious
minorities in Pirojpur district. A Hindu woman of Matua community ( Sushmita
Mandal) was gang-raped in Paikgacha, Khulna. The condition of the woman is
critical. She has been admitted to a hospital in Khulna.
